Police Officer

The City of Eden Valley is a well-knit community with approximately 1,100 residents. The Police Department is looking to add a full-time Police Officer. Police Officers are expected to respond to calls for service, enforce traffic laws, and proactively patrol city streets.

The Police Department works 10 or 12 hour shifts on a 5-on, 5-off, 2-on, 2-off rotation. The Police Officer would be expected to work afternoons into the early morning hours. The schedule is flexible with an employee/family comes first rhetoric.

Eden Valley offers an extremely competitive benefits package including:

100% premiums paid by employer for single/employee health insurance coverage.
85% premiums paid by employer for family health insurance coverage.
100% maximum HSA employer contribution (for family coverage it is $8,750 for 2026)

Pay Rate: $26.22 - $38.31

Also includes a yearly 100-hour holiday check and +$1.00/hr shift differential.

~Meets monthly on the 4th Wednesday at 6:30pm
